Usually we eat lunch standing up in between helping customers. Consequently, we really feel like we're on vacation whenever we get the chance to sit down for an uninterrupted lunch.
Thus, when we heard that a brand new, locally-owned panini restaurant had just opened, we decided to take a lunch vacation there. After all, a panino is an Italian sandwich and we could do a lot worse than vacation for an hour or so in Italy.
I'm happy to say we made a good choice. The list of panini on offer is short, but well-chosen and creative as are the sides. And our picks were well-made and well-presented on rustic pottery plates.
Simple preparations using top-notch ingredients are the heart of Italian cookery and Brick & Tin seems to understand that. Give them a try. We don't think you'll be disappointed.
